Casa de las Amigas has officially launched its 2013 Annual Campaign:
The Goal: Raise $80,000 for Implementation of an Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
Why do we need this? By 2014 we must be in compliance with new
rules for medical records confidentiality, access and storage. The price
tag for this project is roughly $80,000.
What does it mean? With EHR in place, we will be able to share
clients’ medical and personal information among staff, hospital and
medical facility personnel electronically, rather than by paper files.
